The Springwood Tri-Service RSL Sub Branch has once again demonstrated its deep commitment to community and remembrance with a highly successful 2025 Anzac Day commemorative program.

Under the leadership of President Jamie McLellan, the Sub Branch continues to honour the service and sacrifice of Australia’s veterans through meaningful engagement and education.

This year’s Springwood Anzac Service at Springwood Park was a powerful and respectful tribute, bringing the community together in reflection and unity.

Complementing the service was a special exhibition at Logan North Library, showcasing personal memorabilia donated by Sub Branch members. The display offered a small glimpse into the stories and experiences of local veterans, creating a lasting connection between the past and present for all who attended.

Beyond Anzac Day, the Springwood Tri-Service RSL Sub Branch is recognised for its ongoing work within local schools and the broader community. Through educational initiatives and outreach programs, the Sub Branch plays a vital role in ensuring that the values of courage, mateship, and sacrifice are passed on to younger generations.

The dedication of the Sub Branch’s members, many of whom continue to serve the community long after their military careers have ended, reflects the very spirit of the Anzacs.

Their commitment to supporting veterans, engaging with students, and fostering community pride ensures that the legacy of Australia’s servicemen and women will never be forgotten.
