Springwood Electorate Boundary Changes – Proposed 2026 Redistribution

Queensland’s electoral boundaries are reviewed every seven years by the Queensland Redistribution Commission to ensure electorates remain fairly balanced and that every vote carries equal value.

Under the proposed 2026 redistribution, the electorate of Springwood would see some changes. Mount Cotton and Sheldon may move into a neighbouring electorate, while Springwood is proposed to welcome Cornubia, Underwood, and parts of Carbrook and Loganholme.
