WHY I'M STANDING UP FOR SPRINGWOOD

I first decided to put up my hand up because I wanted to make sure our neighbourhood had someone you could count on.

To me that means fighting for good schools and hospitals. Working hard so Queensland's economy is good for everyone, not the few.

We've all seen the damage that bad governments can do. I'm committed to shielding our community from that.

My job is about making sure the government delivers what our community deserves. And I'll do that across both the Redlands and Logan.

I'm proud that we have delivered 1990 more teachers, so our kids get a better education. We've also delivered 2390 more nurses so every family can rely on a decent health system.

I grew up in this neighbourhood, it's where we are raising our family. My parents live and work here too.

And growing up here, taught me many important things. Most important of those, is that when you're given a job to do, you roll up your sleeves and you work hard.

Since 2015 I’ve been working hard on your behalf to help build a better state. And this work is delivering results.

Whether it's been a fair go for tradies and subbies, or more affordable housing projects, I will never rest as long as I'm serving you.

When it comes to home, getting you there sooner is important. That's why delivering the massive upgrades to the M1 and getting the busway extended to our community have been a priority.

I am passionate about making sport accessible for all, regardless of ability or income.

I will always fight to deliver real action on climate change, because it's real. But also because done right, it's a huge opportunity to save households and business on your budget.

And I am still dedicated to quality jobs for everyone in our community and services that we can all rely on.

My work is far from over, and I look forward to continuing to work with you, as I always have, to continue to earn your vote.
